The ghost

I was on holiday with my friend. We were staying in an old castle in Scotland. It was a cold night. We went to bed at twelve o’clock. My friend and I were chatting when we heard wind noises. We shut up, but we heard another noise. We were very frightened. Suddenly, we saw a ghost. It was a girl. It went through the wall. We hid under the bed, because the ghost was coming towards us. The ghost was white, but it was a bit transparent. It didn’t have feet, but it wore a long dress. It was very quiet, but sometimes it made some noises. My friend and I were still under the bed, but we could see the ghost. It could see us too. The ghost was staring, bud suddenly it turned and it left. My friend and I went to bed again, but we couldn’t sleep. When we returned home, we told our history to our parents and friends, but nobody believed us.

BIOGRAPHY

J.K. Rowling

Rowling was born on 31 July 1965 in Yate, loucestershire, England, daugther of Peter James Rowling and Anne Rowling. The family moved to Winterbourne, when Rowling was four. She went to St. Michael's Primary School. It believed thet the director of St. Michael's, Alfred
Dunn, was the inspiration for the Harry Potter character Albus Dambeldore, the head of Hogwards.
As a child, Rowling wrote fantastic stories. Rowling moved to Tutshill, in Gloucestershire, near Chepstow, Wales when she was nine. She went to Wyedean High School. Rowling said about her adolescence: "Hermione is based on me. It is a caricature of me when I was eleven."
In 1990, while travelling on a train from Manchester to London, came to her mind, the idea of a school for withes.
In DEcember of the same year, Rowling's mother died. Joanne wrote many details about the loss of Harry's parents.
Rowling then moved Oporto, Portugal. There she married Jorge Arantes. On 27th July 1993, their daughter Jessica Isabel Rowling Arantes was born. The couple separated in November of that year. In December 1994, Rowling and her daughter moved to Edinburgh, Scotland. During this period she surffed from depression and almost committed suicide. It feeling was the idea of Dementors, soulless beings of Harry Potter.
Rowling finished writing her first novel in cafés. She said she wrote in cafés because she walked her daughter.
Rowling wrote de Harry Potter books. Harry Potter became a very famous series of books. the last four Harry Potter books hold the record as the fastest selling book in history. The series has a total of 4195 pages and has been translated into over 65 languages. Harry Potter changed Joanne's life.

MY FAVOURITE TV PROGRAMME

My favourite TV programme is Ventdelplà, a Catalan series. It began in 2005. I like Ventdelplà because it happens in village called Ventdelplà and its stories are real. It is recorded in Breda, a village in La Selva.

In this series there is a woman (Teresa) that left the city with her children (BIel and Isona) because her husband (Damià) mistreated her. They went to Ventdelplà. They began a new life there. Now they are pleased with their new life in Ventdelplà, but they have some problems.

In my opinion, the best character is David, Teresa's new husband, before he was one of the main characters, but now he doesn't take part in the series because he doesn't live in Ventdelplà. I hate Teresa and Isona because they are too perfect.

2. Most people have got TV in the bedroom: only 4 people have got TV in the kitchen, 4 people have got TV in the dining room, 3 people have got TV in the living room, 1 person has got TV in the cellar and 1 person has got TV in the study.

My bedroom

My bedroom is white. My clothes are on the chair. I don’t decorate my bedroom because I share it with my sister. I tidy my bedroom because my mother says so. I like my bedroom because I can read and play there.
In my bedroom there are two beds, there are my bed and my sister’s bed. On my bed there is a screw and on my sister’s bed there is a heart. Between the beds there is a bedside table. On it there are two photos and an alarm clock. Next to my bed there is a guitar.
Opposite the beds there is a bookcase. On the bookcase there are a lot of books. There are also teddy bears. On the bookcase there is a jewellery box and there is a thermometer. Next to the books there are some photo albums. On each side of the bookcase there is a chair, usually on the chair there are our clothes.
My bedroom is tidy, but sometimes are a lot of clothes on the chair or the bed isn’t made.
